Now more than ever, young people are moving from city to city looking for their opportunity to shine. Great mobility can bring the stress of the unknown and, every now and then, we need to reconnect with our roots to stay grounded. Daryn Alexus has provided us with an feel-good anthem called “Homesick” that is perfect for whenever you feel overwhelmed and need to get back in touch with what you love the most.
 
This release is the latest installment in The Wildflower Series, a project that has been underway for almost a year with Daryn’s producer & friend Dee Lilly. The two are hoping to encourage listeners to love themselves wholeheartedly regardless of their circumstances. In “Homesick,” Daryn gives us a glimpse into her favorite memories from growing up and reminds us not to lose sight of what actually makes us happy.
