Melo Makes Music (Ft. Ravyn Lenae) • "Drain U"

Melo Makes Music has a name that keeps it simple, you know what he's here to do. He's been quietly stacking up a nice collection of singles and continues the trend with "Drain U", a new track featuring Ravyn Lenae and produced by Martin $ky. Martin $ky continues to sharpen his production skills, creating a backdrop spiraling inward, retaining that heavy essence but moving with subtlety. Ravyn Lenae kills it with her always sharp vocals, and you can throw in some excellent cello incorporated from Sylvie Grace as well. 

But key to all of this is Melo Makes Music, who ties the whole thing together with a relentless energy and an ability ride the songs wave in the natural way that the best songwriters can. His voice is crazy versatile too, which means he go wherever he wants vocally. It's an impressive single, the last leading up his new EP release, tentatively titled Nomad. Based on "Drain U", Nomad will absolutely be something to look forward to, and no doubt that Melo Makes Music is a Chicago artist on the come up worth watching.
