Kembe X is wrapping up a great summer. With "Talk Back" out and gaining momentum, Kembe continues the campaign with some animated visuals for "Oxygen", one of my favorite songs from the album. Yellow Nguyen and Christopher Han handle sketch Kembe, but Kembe himself reminisces about his journey filled with confidence, strategy and success. Literally bringing the song's lyrics to life with the illustrations, Yellow and Christopher's contribution to the project adds a new layer to the record.
Since his album's release, we've seen a lot of Kembe X around town. He had a release party earlier this month at a south side brewery that was very lit, and he's been showing out to support other local events since. Not sure how long he plans on hanging out back in Chicago, but if you're given another chance to catch his live show be sure to brush on "Talk Back" if you haven't already and get your ass to that show. Really amazing stuff coming from Kembe X lately, TDE or not.
