Logan Cage (Ft. Taylor Bennett) • "Play No Games"
We expected to see Logan's till Iconic EP to drop today, but for reasons unknown, that project isn't making an appearance, at least not today. As he puts the finishing touches on the follow up to last year's So Iconic (which has disappeared into the ether), Logan and his friend Taylor Bennett unleash Still Iconic's third official single, and all parties involved went completely bananas on this track.
None other than Flight created the production for this one of course. The busy, bass heavy, video game inspired instrumental was hot from the jump, but Logan ended up sitting on the track for nearly six months before playing it for Taylor while the were both making moves in New York this summer. Once both returned to Chicago, it was a priority to get verses laid over Flight's beat and the did so with gusto. Logan and Taylor don't play no games, and neither does Chicago as whole. This new cut is a reminder that that these moves are a calculated part of the plan.
Plenty still on the way from Logan Cage in the coming months. Still Iconic comes first, but a full length will follow shortly thereafter... hopefully. Logan can be a bit of a perfectionist, but we know his fans don't mind the resulting quality.
