Chance The Rapper Partners with New Era to Redesign White Sox Cap
Chance The Rapper's White Sox hometown love continues. Chance has partnered with New Era Caps, the official on-field cap of Major League Baseball, to redesign the White Sox Hat in partnership with his The Social Experiment (abbreviated: SoX) movement. OJ Hays, who handles much of Chance's graphic design, appears to have played a role in the project judging by director Austin Vesely's recent shout out.
The three limited-edition hats (grey, black and blue) go on-sale April 8th, 2016 at ChanceRaps.com. Chance will also be throwing out the honorary first pitch at the White Sox home opener at U.S. Cellular field that same afternoon.
