Goose Island & Twin Peaks Collaborate on a New Beer for Pitchfork Music Festival

Since 2013 Goose Island has paired up with a musical act to create a limited edition beer for the Pitchfork Music Festival here in Chicago. Last year it was Chance's the Rapper's highly publicized No Collar, prior to that Sharon Van Etten & Run The Jewels had the honors. This year, the hometown brewing company pairs up with another one of the cities buzzing young musical acts, Twin Peaks. In an announcement this morning, they unveiled their new creation, a "garage lager" crowned Natural Villain. As these things go, the beer will only be available at the festival from July 13-15 as well as in the days surrounding it at a few select bars hand picked by the band and brewery. Remembering back to the "Flavor" music video, the Twin Peaks dudes take their beer seriously so we're looking forward to tasting a plenty of these come next month. Watch Natural Villian's humorous promotional video up top, and grab your tickets for this year's festival to have a round with us.

“We were fortunate enough to get together with Chicago born and bred Goose Island and collaborate with them on our very own beer for Pitchfork fest. It’s inspired by some of our favorite beers like Modelo, Pacifico, and Sol. We also got to design the label and give it our lil’ western twist. It’s gonna be poured up at some of our favorite Chicago bars the week of Pitchfork too, so everyone’s thirst can be quenched!”
