Chicago-based singer-songwriter Lala Lala will join Better Oblivion Community Center for 19 of their USA tour dates. Better Oblivion Community Center is the unique but natural pairing of two singer-songwriters — veteran Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) and up-and-comer Phoebe Bridgers (also apart of supergroup boygenius with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus). The collaboration was a surprised announcement, their debut self-titled album coming out January 24th, 2019. Lala Lala will join the tour on March 18th 2019 at the Bluebird Theater in Denver and wrapping on April 12th 2019 at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, NM. “Hometown” Chicago show will be March 23rd 2019 at Lincoln Hall.

This high visibility tour dates will surely be an additional rocket ship for Lala Lala’s (Lillie West) already budding career, in support of her critically acclaimed debut album The Lamb (September 2018). Originally from London, growing up in Los Angeles, West came to the Midwest to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Lala Lala kicked off 2019 with a series of US dates in partnership with fellow Chicago-transplant Sen Morimoto. West has a handful of headlining European dates throughout February and March 2019. Later this year Lala Lala will join seasoned indie-rockers Death Cab for Cutie for a series of dates in June and July 2019. She’ll also play Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain in July.
