Local Acts Featured In Millennium Park's Summer Concert Series
The City of Chicago has announced the line-up for their summer concert series held at The Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park. Chicago acts featured in the 2016 season include indie rockers Marrow, vocal duo Homme, rapper Probcause, funk/soul band Sidewalk Chalk and guitarist-songwriter Ryley Walker. National and International acts include Lee Fields & The Expressions, Nnenka, Femi Kuti & The Positive Force, King Sunny Ade, Jose Gonzalez, Sinkane, Lower Dens, Tall Heights and more. The Millennium Park Music Series is formerly titled Downtown Sound and Made in Chicago. All the concerts are free, all ages and open to the public.
The series kicks off on Monday, June 6th at 6:30PM featuring Blonde Redhead and Ryley Walker. The series runs every Monday and Thursday throughout the summer with breaks for The Taste of Chicago and Lollapalooza.
