Mamby On The Beach Partners with Aux Cord DJs for 'Secret Garden: Silent Disco'
Mamby On The Beach music festival has partnered with Chicago-based party series Aux Cord DJs to curate a portion of the lineup for this year's 'Secret Garden: Silent Disco.' The party which the Chicago Tribune named one of 'Chicago's Best Dance Parties' recruited some of their past 'aux cord' alums to select tunes at Mamby's popular Silent Disco stage. The selections include journalist Britt Julious, photographer/videographer Evan Brown (aka. Actually On Dirt), rapper/activist Ric Wilson, designer Emma 'Stich Gawd' McKee and Maceo Haymes of The O'My's. Additional special guests to be announced. Looking at this year's 2018 Mamby lineup - who knows who might pop up! Aux Cord DJ's co-founders Patrick Welby, Kevin McGraw and Sam Riddle revealed their thought process with the official Mamby On The Beach Silent Disco announcement:
"Aux Cord DJs events are about providing an unlikely platform for creators to share their taste in music with audiences looking to be a little surprised and have a lot of fun. We’re stoked to be bringing such a diverse subset of the Chicago creative community to the beach with us this summer, and we can’t wait to hear what they’ve got up their sleeves – and on their playlists.”
Additionally, Mamby has selected a handful of other buzzing DJs including Redeux, CZ Boogie, Dustin Sheridan, Inphinity, Bucky Fargo and Marea. Mamby On The Beach is June 23-24th at Oakwood Beach in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood.
