Patrick Corcoran Named to Forbes '30 Under 30' Music, Chicago Acts Billed on Coachella 2017 Line-Up

'Pat The Manager' and Jeremih Represent Chicago Music on Forbes '30 Under 30'

26-year old Patrick Corcoran, manager of Chance The Rapper has been named to Forbes prestigious '30 Under 30" Music category. Corcoran was an integral part in Chance's 2016 success, specifically the release of Coloring Book exclusively through Apple Music. Corcoran is also the co-founder of Haight Brand alongside Michael Ahern and Eric Montanez. The management company provides artists services, website design, merchandise services and other consultancy. 'Pat The Manager' has been working with Chance The Rapper since 2012, and has since begun to work with acts like Towkio, Knox Fortune & Smoko Ono to name a few. Earlier this year, Corcoran was noted on Billboard's '40 Under 40: Rising Stars' list. Chance The Rapper himself appeared on Forbes 2015 Music '30 Under 30' list.

29-year old Chicago singer Jeremih, who recently released a Christmas themed mixtape with Chance The Rapper also landed on the list. Jeremih released his 'Late Night's project in 2015, where it eventually went Gold with the help of singles "Down On Me" and "Don't Tell 'Em." 

The rest of the music list includes rappers G-Eazy (27), Logic (26),  Lil Yachty (19), Desiinger (19), Drew Taggart (27) from The Chainsmokers, Solection co-founder Joe Kay (27), The Weeknd's creative director La Mar Taylor (26), R&B singers Bryson Tiller (23) and Justine Skye (21) and many more.

Music judges that contributed to the list's selections include by singer Halsey, R&B singer Jason Derulo and Anthony Saleh (Manager: Nas, Future, YG and Alina Baraz).


Twin Peaks, Whitney and Autograf land on Coachella 2017 Lineup

Although just a handful of talented acts, Chicago continues its representation at Cochella as the Indo, California double weekend 3-day festival has announced it's 2017 line-up. Rock bands Whitney and Twin Peaks will play both weekends. Both groups released an album in 2016 to critical acclaim. Electro-pop funk group Autograf will also be playing this year after a strong 2016 featuring a nationwide tour and strong singles. Chicago native and singer/songwriter Ezra Furman will add Coachella to his already well estalished festival and touring career. Although a native of London but recently calling Chicago home - Jack Garratt will also be performing this year.

The extensive line-up (found here) will be headlined by Radiohead, Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar. The event is held April 14th-16th and again the following weekend April 21-23rd.
