Saba Begins His Nationwide Takeover Following the Release of Care For Me

Saba just dropped his monumental album Care For Me and it’s greater than anyone could ever have expected. Saba has always been an incredible artist, but Care For Me is album of the year caliber material. Things are moving quickly for the West side Chicago artist, and as the album gains recognition his profile is spreading across the country. Here’s a brief rundown of some of the highlights Saba has experienced a mere 6 days since the release of Care For Me.

He kicked off by immediately dropping his "Life" video after the project's release, getting a fantastic fan response with the beautifully directed visual. Saba and Pivot Gang are now on tour, including Joseph Chilliams, MFN Melo, and Jean Deaux, as well as local photography phenom Evan Brown. Their first stop is tonight in Philadelphia, and then they’re moving from east coast, to south, to west and back again. You can check for stops in your city and find tickets to his Care For Me tour here.

As far as business is concerned, Care For Me started doing crazy numbers.  Already with hundreds of thousands of plays across streaming platforms, the album charted at #45 on Billboard’s hip-hop and R&B listings, and landed decisively as the number 2 rap album on itunes.

He’s been hitting the promotional circuit as well, with an appearance on Sway In The Morning where he discusses the response to Care For Me, his writing and production process, and spits what you know to be an insane freestyle. Oh, and he met Cardi B. Expect many more promo spots to follow.

Don’t step on Saba’s shine. The man is on fire right now, and deserves every bit of love that he's getting. Long Live John Walt.
