The Cool Kids Recruit Visual Artist Louis De Guzman for 'The Bake Sale' 10 Year Anniversary Limited Edition Vinyl

To celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of their critically acclaimed EP The Bake Sale, The Cool Kids have enlisted visual artist Louis De Guzman to design a limited edition vinyl pressing. Originally released June 10th 2008, The Bake Sale was a pivotal release not only in Chicago but its influence on hip-hop can still be felt in many releases today. Featuring tracks like "Black Mags", "Mikey Rocks", "88" and "Gold and a Page" -- this modern day classic is a cornerstone of hip-hop in the 2000s.

The Cool Kids found the next wave of Chicago creativity with De Guzman's twist on the EP's artwork. De Guzman has already collaborated with RSVP Gallery, Jordan Brand, Chicago Bulls, Just Don, Hennessy, Red Bull, Chicago Ideas Week, Converse, Gatorade and more. As a second generation Filipino American, De Guzman integrates his family's immigrant struggle and his own experience into much of his work. This results in plenty of brand clients but nods from cultural figures like Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks of The Cool Kids too. More of De Guzman's past work can be found at at LouisDeGuzman.com and on his Instagram @LouisDeGuzman.

The limited edition pressing is available for pre-sale now at TheCoolKids.com.
