Donnie Trumpet (Ft. Moxie Raia) • "La Luna"

In honor of Mr Blue Eyes on his birthday and the Social Experiment being the first independent artists on Saturday Night Live...a social experiment produced by Donnie Trumpet featuring vocals by Moxie Raia. A la luna........

Spirits were high with The Social Experiment squadron on Saturday.

1) Chance The Rapper and crew performed two songs on Saturday Night Live, one old (yet extended): "Sunday Candy" and one new: "Somewhere in Paradise". The camp became the first independent act to ever perform on SNL, so that should be enough for one Saturday, right? Wrong.

2) Donnie Trumpet released a collaborative song with New York singer Moxie Raia. The song, "La Luna" is a cover of "Fly Me to the Moon" by the late great Ol' Blue Eyes. Frank Sinatra, who passed in 1998, would have celebrated his 100th birthday on Saturday, and this ode is one hell of a cover/tribute. This is the first upload on Donnie Trumpet's SoundCloud since Surf and auto-tuned/auto-crooned track fits perfectly within December.

As if it wasn't already made perfectly clear, SoX are truly killing the holiday season. Expect more surprises around the corner before the year comes to a close.
