Webster X has had a big week. Distribution deal with Chicago's hottest record label, Closed Sessions? Check. Released his first track in a year? Check. No doubt, the last quarter of 2016 has been an exciting time for the Milwaukee rapper, and from what I can tell, his new song "Blue Streak" is a tribute to that. What had to happen for all these pieces to fall into place is hard to say, but it's happening here and now. A reference to the Martin Lawrence movie, a statement about internal and external change? These are the hard-hitting questions. Produced by Four Giants, "Blue Streak" gives a properly cinematic vibe to the dramatic happenings in his life that Webster X is detailing. This song will be featured on his debut album, certain to be shaking things up in Midwest music if his previous work is any indication. So, sorry for the delay on getting "Blue Streak" out there on our end, but thankfully we know for a fact that there is going to be a lot more fantastic Webster X coming down the pipeline from MKE.
