WebsterX • "Blue Streak"

Directed by Damien Blue & Cody LaPlant

Just over two weeks removed from the release of his debut album, Daymares, Webster X surfaces once again with a visual companion for the album's single “Blue Streak” in time for a his headline performance Thursday night at Jewels Room in Los Angeles. His new visual for "Blue Streak" directed by Damien Blue and Cody LaPlant stands as a flawless depiction of Webster’s vision.

As the shot swirls around, we find ourselves in an abandoned space of concrete and darkness accompanied by a lone Webster X. Taking us on a journey of introspection and enlightenment, he tells us where he’s been, what he’s learned, and where he plans to take this knowledge, “I don’t be lying dog, I don’t be trying too much, this golden path I’m on, wasn’t always for us,” let’s us know exactly where we’re going, the attention, the fame. Webster speaks about dealing with success with conviction, on how things aren’t always pretty at first but by losing yourself, you’ll come to see who around you is actually here for the long run. In most of the video, Webster is alone pacing staring into emptiness, but toward the end he’s lifted by the plethora of those around him, “Coulda’ been alone, but I rose yeah I’m right now...gazing down from higher clouds, signed and sealed I’m finally found.”
