Round Up • New Releases From Spenzo, Drew Mantia, Lil Durk & More

Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Drew Mantia • THRIVE

Stank Face Records very own Drew Mantia has produced for many notable Chicago names in the past few years such as Chance the Rapper, Twista, and Saba to name a few. Drew's most recent work Thrive features a lot of familiar faces as well including Bruce Bayne, CYN, Probcause and plenty others throughout the surprise six track EP.  Stop stalling, Thrive below.

Lil Durk • "If I Could"

Lil Durk and C-Sick go together like peanut butter and jelly. It’s apparent they’ve had the sauce since their last collaborations "Jump Off", "Ride 4 Me", and "Waffle House" on Durk's last project 300 Days 300 Nights. The Chicago power duo continue their legacy with "If I Could", Durk's second song to drop of this week following "With Me" this past Sunday.

Louis The Child (Ft. K. Flay) • "It's Strange" (ProbCause Remix)

DJ/Producer duo Louis The Child have lived well this past year on the success of their K. Flay assisted single "It's Strange". Since the single's original release, LTC was also behind curating a remix album featuring 23 new versions of their hit in January. Today, one more remix surfaces, and this time it's from our friend ProbCause. After having heard this song so many times and flipped so many ways, Prob still brings something fresh to the table.

Spenzo • "Fuck Up My Day"

This track really needs to be your alarm clock because everyone could use that “don’t fuck up my day” mentality to kick off their day. Spenzo’s latest offering is everything you would expect from the Englewood MC, loud compressed bass, catchy hooks and snare rolls so fast you’d think Jimmy Johns delivered them. So whether your having a terrible day or a great one, "Fuck Up My Day" is bound to boost your mood.

UG Vavy • "In My Bag"

2008ighties affiliate UG Vavy has switched into high gear these past few months with the release of his hottest record to day "Sport It" among others, and now he's got another contender to toss into the ring. UG Vavy handles the raps and production on "In My Bag", a single we expect to hear on UG's forthcoming project "Ruby".
