I'll be the first to admit that I've been sleeping on Weasel Sims recent #WeaselWednesday series, but that ends today. Following up the single release last week, Weasel and friends release a New Jack City inspired video for the hard hitting "Goin' 4 Nan". The west side native has been diligently releasing music and refuses to cut corners. The unwillingness to "pay to play, dick ride, or take shit" may be attributable to his less than speedy rise to the top, but like Nino did the Carter, Weasel Sims in planning a strong arm takeover. Using a DJ Bari instrumental to fuel his little over four minute attack of politicking rappers, Weasel takes no prisoners and goes right for the jugular of anyone who substitutes hard work and talent with payola and a fake persona.
