WARHOL.SS (Ft. Pollari) • "guacamole!"
The story that is WARHOL.SS is foreign to me and probably plenty of others at this point in his career, but the momentum he's generated in a year's time is notable and worthy of some attention. Born and raised on Chicago's south side, Warhol has taken flight as of late, generating tens of thousands of plays on each release and just recently sharing the stage with Soulja Boy as a Red Bull Sound Select artist. It's obvious he's got some eyes on him, but now what?
According to "guacamole", Warhol needs his gauc and his chips. Whether you interpret that metaphorically or literally, either way they're good things to strive for. While the pursuit for [insert food related money reference here] is underway, today's release seems to be just another loose single to add to Warhol's collection, but he did just tease fans with the announcement of a new EP on the way with Florida artist Smokepurpp. It seems an official debut is imminent, but until then get familiar with the Warhol back catalog, it's a rabbit hole you won't mind getting lost in.
