Vic Spencer • "Dropping Feelings"
Words by Ricky Byrdsong Jr.
With years of experience in Chicago's rap scene under his belt, Englewood native Vic Spencer is back at it with his latest track "Dropping Feelings". Once again, Vic provides us with his usual brazen delivery style, which insinuates his frustration with just about everything from peers to the topsy-turvy community that surrounded him, and we're not surprised. Vic has always been vocal about both his triumphs and tribulations. In a recent tweet, Vic releases the plot of his latest project in his own words; “Dropping Feelings is for anybody who seen a person go numb from success, then got in their feelings when you told em that they shallow.” If you’ve been listening to his music then you know right where Vic’s coming from.
On the brink of a major breakthrough, Vic stands confident in the face of adversity and continues to push his career forward. With more to stay tuned for, this lyrical monster can be caught live in action, June 26th, at the 2016 Logan Square Arts Festival. Be there or be square!
More Vic Spencer
