Simone Bisous (Ft. Bread Doe) • "In My Feelings"
This city just keeps offering up new talent by the day and this week we got a new one from another side of the city that has been incubating for a while as Simone Bisous dropped off her latest single, "In My Feelings" featuring Bread Doe. A followup to a winter season that saw her debut a Verluxe-directed visual and find a guest spot alongside Taylor Bennett for "Oh I Love You" and "Wasting Time" off Broad Shoulders, this one finds young Bisous settling into her own lane while prepping for her upcoming full-length, Bisous, due out later this year.
The single is a highly-relatable tale that comes along at a time when we're all wallowing with the new Drake album and underscores her forward moves that have arrived with increasing frequency. More than anything, the growth here is really cool and backed by none other than the Remix Project which operates out of Lacuna Artist Lofts and acts as a sort of incubator for local artistry that finds an outlet on this one.
