In case you forgot, Famous Dex reminds us that he isn’t all fun and games in his latest release “Told You.” Dex has shown his charisma and ridiculously contagious energy in recent tracks like “DMC,” but here we see him in a much less playful setting. Directed once again by Laka Films, the video for “Told You” takes it back to the block with the Heartbreak Kid.
From there he makes it clear that he’s all about getting paid and he’s damn good at it. If you ever doubted Famous Dex’s toughness, maybe this video will change your mind. Mixing his magnetic flow with hard trap snares, Dex comes with an assertive tone and still manages to make me smile with a reference to 'Lil Bow Wow too. I just don’t understand how he does it. As tough as he is, I still want to kick it with him. Go check out the video for “Told You.”
