Johnny May Cash (Ft. Lud Foe) • "50 Shots"
An exciting collabo has landed on the shores of Lake Michigan. If you’ve had your ear to the ground whatsoever over the last 6 months, you’ll know that Lud Foe is blowing up in a big way right in Chicago. Alternatively, Johnny May Cash hasn't been the biggest name recently, but fans of Chicago rap will certainly hold him in high regard as one of the most underrated singers the city has to offer, with an incredibly high number of banging tracks over the years for such relative anonymity.
Now they've teamed up to drop "50 Shots", combining voices of silk and gravel for a must hear track. The production is straightforward, as is Lud Foe's verse, and really it's JMC that shines. I love this collaboration, and hope that they keep working together going forward. Some nice features with a rising talent such as Lud Foe could be just what Johnny May Cash needs to let the world know that he's not to be slept on.
