Cassius Tae • "3:45 AM"

Directed by Ja-Wan The Director

After being in this music world for more than a handful of years, you start to catch vibes from certain artists that set them apart from everything else. With music consumption at an all time high and the speed in which we consume it seemingly increasing everyday, getting heard is difficult enough, but being memorable is even harder. A college student from down south, Cassius Tae initially caught my attention with the release of "Maybe Maybe" in the summer of 2014. Since then Tae's story has hardly been about overnight success, but everything he's put out has been very strong and obviously well developed.

A proper project under his belt following the release of New Beginnings and more than a handful of great loose records floating around the internet, it's clear Cassius Tae has the drive and experience to get something started. It's just a matter of time and the right exposure for this young man to make some waves.

Keeping the process moving, Tae burns the midnight oil in his new video for "3:45 AM", a single you can hear on the aforementioned New Beginnings. Take it from someone who absolutely hates talking on the phone, it takes a real connection to want to actually be on the phone with someone until a quarter to four in the morning, but when it happens you hardly notice the time pass. Get in that mindset for a moment as you watch an old relationship become new again in "3:45 AM".
