UG Vavy • "Bussin"
UG Vavy is one of Chicago’s most exciting new musicians, and if you’re new to the artist we’d encourage you to read up on him here. Rocking one of the smoothest voices of any rapper / singer around, there’s a unique style to him that is 100% his own. And while he has a group with Supa Bwe and Shepard Hues known as Fight Me in the mix, he’s still releasing solo music – a necessary task, as he’s still getting his name out there right now. But I wouldn’t be worried, about that, his talent is speaking for itself right about now.
The track is "Bussin", and it's giving you a slightly different UG Vavy than you may be familiar with. "Bussin" probably features more rapping (versus singing) than any of his tracks yet, instead using the singing occasionally here and then to add a flourish to the track. The beat is self produced and glorious, a slow drum roll with trumpets and sub, creeping forward as UG Vavy breaks it down. You all know we're fans of Vavy here, and it's because the man does it all.

Just in time for the holidays, Sunny Woodz delivers a gift for the current season - a Chicago rapper/producer garnering positive national attention for whom the whole city can cheer.
On ‘Rick James Cam’ron,’ the artist surprised listeners with a single that could not be categorized and seemingly developed a new sub-genre - the trap opera. With ‘Wavy Shit,’ he shows that he is willing to put out a song that fits into an existing category, only when he can elevate the sound with his distinctive lyrical style and flow.
