Premiere • King Louie, Dally Auston & theMIND: "Vices" (Prod. OnGaud)

Chicago has been enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime summer that will culminate in the next week with a slew of those artists taking the stage at Lollapalooza. While many have reached the top already, plenty more are ready to do so in subsequent years and here we're proud to premiere a new one from a cross-section of local talent, both established and in the process of doing so as King Louie teams up with SaveMoney's Dally Auston and theMIND for "Vices" produced by OnGaud. 

This one is a posse cut executive produced by the 119 Productions team here in Chicago that has made a name for itself by regularly offering up DJ Khaled-sized collaborations of local talent, which luckily has often go on to dictate the theme of the first paragraph in this post. We caught up with Dally to get some further insight into the making of the track and how it came to be. How did this one come together? Several sessions or one big experiment?

Good relationships within all parties helped this come together... I laid down my part over what theMIND had already crafted and pitched it to Loui, who fucked with it and we got together and had some fun.

You've been a part of several 119 tapes, how did you get involved?

They've been very efficient in the comfort of the artist they work with. Allowing the artist to work n create in a productive setting, Mainly why I always want to work with them. they make it fun.

How important is it to show Chicago is united across the city?

In short, its very important.  People need to stick together to motive progression and moving forward
