Saba • "Symmetry"
Saba has released “Symmetry” via BBC’s and Zane Lowe’s Beats 1, and lets just say that all waiting fans can breathe a huge sigh of satisfaction. One of Chicago’s most talented out there right now, Saba has created a track that takes the trials and tribulations of love and boils them down to music at its most pure. With help on production from wiz kids Phoelix and DaeDae, Saba has a luxuriant playground to make his own as artist that he is. We get a little more singing from him on “Symmetry” too, and it feels nothing but natural. Catch him at Lollapalooza on Friday, and look forward to a new project on the way.
More Saba
"Studio Ground Rules,” the third single off the yet untitled project, is a rundown of the Pivot Gang etiquette.
Rolling out singles in such a steady pace as Saba continues on his tour representing Chicago overseas, is an impressive feat alone.
Loaded with an ammunition of unruly verses, hooks and refreshing flows, Saba, Joseph Chilliams, MFnMelo and FRSH Waters individually yet, collectively held their own on their latest track “Blood”.
Saba’s collaborations and work with other artists always demonstrates the skill each one has and brings out something more for each person involved
Saba consistently proves himself to be on top of the game. With his album, Care For Me, which dropped in April, he follows up with his new single “Stay Right Here” and does not disappoint
Taking a step back and acknowledging the bigger picture, the triumph of Pivot Gang’s You Can’t Sit With Us is what makes it even more exceptional. The album feels in service of each other first and foremost which in turn makes it a labor of love.
