Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Jayaire Woods • "No Fear"

Its apparent the young QC emcee is on the rise, “No Fear” is just another step in prepping for the release of his newest project Free The Fall. Jayairewoods has been on a tear lately, doing this all while supporting label mate Lil Yachty on his 18 city tour. Jayaire sings and raps over the Jordeaux produced heater letting you know he’s not afraid of much, spitting it in such a nonchalant yet meaningful way. Its dope to see more people outside of and even inside of the city catch the wave of the young shy kid from The Woods.

Plain Dave • "Knock"

Knock knock, Plain Dave's new single is here, check it out below.

This prior week, Plain Dave announced a mixtape that will be coming out very soon. Continuing his run of dropping music, which usually means the project is about to drop, Plain Dave is back this week with a brand new song, "Knock". Dave spits his sluggish flow over heavy hitting production. Last week he dropped a song with Captain Jaybe, "Speedo", which received great feedback. Check that out if you haven't already and keep your eyes open for the tape to drop next month.

Ran$ah • "Pocket Watchin"

Ran$ah and Plu2o Nash team up once again and bring us the smooth track "Pocket Watching". Why worry about others when you have to chase your own. These guys are definitely focused on what needs to get done, and there is no time to waste. Imitated but never duplicated, Plu2o Nash comes through with his original sound adding a futuristic laid back feel to it. With a relaxed flow that comes naturally to him, Ran$ah lets people know he's not one to play with and does this beat justice. It's obvious that both of their sounds mesh together perfectly. This track will leave you wanting more, click the link and vibe to it.

Saint Millie (Ft. Logan Cage) • "ET Phone Home"

Saint Millie and Logan just debuted their music video for "Et Phone Home", a song off of Saint Millie's latest project, Adderall, which dropped back in April. APJfilms takes us out of this world with some extraterrestrial visuals. Saint Millie had this concept of taking the visuals into space to show us that there is no limit to where we can take his creative talents.
Be an astronaut for the day and check the video below.

Trapo (Ft. Skizzy Mars) • "Beg"

Trapo, Trapo, Trapo. This dude has been absolutely killing it since stepping out from his native Madison around thie time last year, and he doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. Releasing his new single "Beg" just before the weekend hit alongside Skizzy Mars, Trapo is in full grind mode getting prepared to release his full length project Shade Trees sometime in September. "Beg" is the project's first official single, and Skizzy Mars is the project's only feature, so dig into this glimpse at what's to come. Trapo didn't even make you beg for it.
