I don't know much about The Bckpckrs (The Backpackers on Soundcloud), but I like what I hear. This production duo had an opportunity to rework Jamila Woods' track with Chance The Rapper, "LSD", and did so in a big way. Many rappers have started to help bring the light back to juke, even if just tossing hints of what it is to the mainstream. We can look at this as another example of the truth getting out there, because The Bckpckrs have thrown together one hell of a straight juke remix to "LSD". The percussion is crisp, fast and clean, and the vocals on the track never get fully pushed to the background so fans of the original will absolutely still find enjoyment here.
