The A.S.A. Project • The A.S.A. Project
Since damn near Day One of TheseDays' existence, there have been several groups and acts that have come to pace the site on a regular basis. Perhaps no one else though, has been as big a part of that as The A.S.A. Project out of the western edges of the city who offered up their long-awaited full-length release bearing the same name as the collective.
We first met Spazz, Reelo and Turnip Gawd when they came by one of our early #NoCoastNews Podcasts and subsequent radio shows (which begin again in the Fall) and in the time since we've teamed up with the guys for a premiere or two as they dipped and dived their way to the realization of their first complete work of art, bearing the name The A.S.A. Project. The trio has grown immensely in that time, proving the growth a year's time can provide. With pop-leanings and ability for bars that would put other city's best to the test, A.S.A. arrives fully-understood on their debut, albeit with an ability to go in a multitude of directions from this particular point. Time will continue to tell what will come of this hometown crew, but if the way they've used it to this point is any indication, we're excited. Check out their project, streaming above.
