Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Adot • "Paradise/Reflection"

Adot linked up with Zac aka @Whylonewolf to drop a new music video for two songs, "Paradise" and "Reflection". I like the creative spot Adot is in right now, he's switched up his sound a bit, as with these two songs he is beginning to incorporate a retro disco-pop feel. Zac does a good job of directing and editing the visuals as he takes us back to the late 80's early 90's with trippy visuals and a nostalgic VHS feel. Check out the visuals below and stay up to date with Adot.

El-Shareef • "Uniform Souls"

Milwaukee has been developing it's own hip-hop community over the past couple of years. At the front of the Milwaukee scene we see Ishdarr, Webster X, Wave Chapelle and many others following behind them. One of those artists is El-Shareef, and today he delivers his brand new single, "Uniform Souls", which will be on his upcoming album "Matching Verts". "Uniform Souls" is a song about his past relationships and how they had to become one. Check El-Shareef out below and stay in tune for the new project.

IshDARR • "Locals"

Summers slowly fading and we are beginning to approach the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter is usually a great time as an artist to deliver a new project. Ishdarr, Wisconsin raised, now a national recognized artist just premiered a brand new song, "Locals". Locals a record produced by Illmind, a well-recognized producer, is the new single from Ishdarr's upcoming project Broken Hearts and Bankrolls. Check out the single now, and stay tuned for the new project to drop.

Killavessi • "Owe Me"

Working hard and treating yourself to nice things is definitely the message behind Killavesi’s new drop titled “Owe Me”. With blinders avoiding her haters, Killavesi spits bars over high pitched melodic synths tied with a versatile drum rhythm produced by Blank Body. If they’re any females in the Chicago rap game who can bring the heat, Killavesi is definitely one of them.  Enjoy this jam and most importantly keep you’re ears tuned for more!

Mpulse • "Best Out"

Chicagos very own rap slangin' monster Mpulse is back at it again with his latest drop titled "Best Out". Confidently spitting per usual, the Chicago artist continues to prove to the world just how underrated but great he really is. Let's also not forget to shout out producer Keef Boyd for a job well done on the beat. Stay locked and enjoy, Mpulse has plenty more new every week for the foreseeable future.
