Lucki (Ft. Warhol.ss) • "Special"

The west side villain formerly known as Lucki Ecks adds fuel to flame on an already raging list of singles leading up to the highly anticipated Watch My Back album, supposedly set to drop sometime this month. Rumors of the album’s April 10th release date appear to have come to a screeching halt with Lucki stating, “Watch My Back is now called ‘Almighty So 2’ dead ass. I couldn't be more serious,” via twitter on the 11th. Releasing another fiery classic titled “Special,” Lucki has at least temporarily suppressed any civil unrest for the demand of a full album that has yet to surface.

With help from production duo Plu2o Nash and Mayhem Meech, Lucki and Warhol.ss make for a tragically unheard perfect combination. “Special” kicks off with a formidable verse from the south side “flex-matology” expert Warhol.ss, feeding into a dynamic finish starring Lucki and his demons. Showcasing the spectacle of wordplay he’s built a name on, Lucki has become an even greater force to reckon with, this year especially. If you’ve noticed, he’s taken a hold of his brand premiering visuals solely through personal platforms. As he bypasses the middleman of publications and blogs Lucki demonstrates acumen for the social marketing game that controls the world of independent music as we know it, thus matching this resonating quest for domination found in his recent collection of streams.

Be sure to check out his soundcloud for all the work he's given us so far. Watch My Back should be here this month, with a rollout of consistency like this, the next project will no doubt be a milestone for Lucki.
