Rockie Fresh • “Love Is War”, “On The Moon” & “You & I”

Today Rockie Fresh releases three new tracks, “Love Is War”, “On The Moon” and “You & I”. About a year ago, The Night I Went To…, served as his debut with MMG (Maybach Music Group). Since then, we’ve seen a handful of visual singles like the APJ Films directed, “Keep The Peace” and “Still Watching”.

“Love Is War” produced by DJ Money, Von Tae Beats and Kid Exclusive is a track for that special someone. If you play the field, it’s fair to assume you’ve come across someone who stands out from the rest, “You know we going all in, I don’t know what we call it, you don’t believe in titles, this right here is all about survival.” Smooth hip hop meshed a with a touch of R&B makes the song sensual, but club ready.

Rockie picks up the pace a bit with King Louie in “On The Moon”. Produced by Ism, the beat lays a suitable canvas for the lyricists to paint over. A club banger for sure, no debate allowed.  For “You & I”, Rockie rises to the occasion over Chris Batson’s Kanye West level sampling. Riding the beat like a master, the Treated Crew lyricist gets back to his Chicago roots. Referencing an array of city made brands, Rockie’s imagery paints a night on the town in the windy city.

Keep up with Rockie's new additions to his catalog below and expect plenty more as he gears up for whatever's next. Not a lot of details circulating about a new album, but he has been spotted in the studio with some pretty big names recently. Don't let his Rockie's hustle fly under your radar.
