Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Famous Dex • "No Hook (Part 4)"

There’s an old saying ‘if it ain't broke, don’t fix it’, thus continues Famous Dex’ No Hook series. The happy go lucky rapper who is known for his hooks ironically leaves them absent in this fourth installment. Famous Dex previously mentioned that he would not showcase guns in his videos, but his code of ethics is removed as he pulls out the Call of Duty weapons for this one.

Flume (Ft. Vic Mensa) • "Lose It"

Distance shows no boundaries when it comes to collaborations between compatible artists. Australia’s breakout DJ, Flume, has recruited Vic Mensa for his latest track "Lose It". With Kaytranada’s "Drive Me Crazy", we were introduced to a new side of Vic Mensa, effortlessly meshing his more aggressive delivery with the calm nature of a house instrumental. The payoff was genius, and while not the first rapper to spit over an EDM track, Vic seems to have a knack for it. "Lose It" is part of Flume’s newest EP Skin which dropped last week.  With the announcement of his mixtape There's A lot Going On and his debut album lying in wait, we anticipate much more from Vic any day now.

Rockie Fresh • "8 Missed Calls Interlude"

8 Missed Calls was such a great interlude, it deserved its own visual treatment. Rockie Fresh might as well drop a music video for every track on his The Night I Went To since this is the 3rd track from the album. Extending the longevity of an album plays a crucial move in appealing to the more casual of fan. If you missed the Rockie Fresh album train that started in January, all you streaming service people can catch up as it was released earlier today on Spotify and Apple Music.

Sasha Go Hard • "Buck With Me"

I don’t know if I missed the memo but apparently throwing money around is out, it’s all about the kidnapping themed music videos now. Released about two weeks ago, the queen of drill Sasha Go Hard takes on a visual for her latest track "Buck With Me which", produced by Cash Bag Beats. You know the drill, hit play below.
