Gem Tree’s latest single ‘Mary Jane’ is an elegant ode to partaking in herbs, and the video proves to be artful and entrancing. The first single from her upcoming EP “Gem and I” is meditative, taking place in front of church doors in an attempt to intertwine the “same righteous mindedness that [she] feels with herbs.” The daughter of a preacher, she hits on the spiritual themes she aims for in both song and video.
