Beach Jesus (Ft. Cae Jones) • "Helsinki"

Happy belated birthday to our friend Cae Jones (@notcaejones) This is a loose single, one of many that will be scattered throughout 2016. Dreams of Helsinki. Vocals by @Robo_Chando and @Jessiath Produced by @jarofmy Original artwork by Chris Orta.

We're still soaking up the This Time Last Year EP that dropped less than a month ago, but the spacey Chicago quartet is back with "Helsinki", a new single and perhaps an unused leftover from the recording session of the aforementioned EP. Accompanied by more stunning cover art drawn by Chris Orta, "Helsinki" featuring newcomer Cae Jones is just one of many loose singles we can expect to hear from this group in 2016. Named after Finland's capital, but "Helsinki" has no relation to the foreign city as far as I can tell. Chandler, Jommis and feature artist Cae Jones speak about love and the struggle that goes with it on this JAROFMY produced cut. Perhaps labeled as experimental by some, Beach Jesus are actually experts of their collective sound and have made a genre all their own that we have come to enjoy quite a bit.
