Beach Jesus • "Hollow As I"

This is a loose single, one of many that will be scattered throughout 2016. "My tears formed the sea that sea swallowed my eyes and formed the sorrows and the bottles just as hollow as I" Vocals by @Robo_Chando and @Jessiath Produced by @seeeer Squad Polaroid by @neonpajamas

Beach weather is right around the corner, but Chicago's year round beach going quartet never stopped doling out their funky and experimental vibes. Kicking off their collaborative spirit, emcees Chandler London and Jessiath (aka Jommis) linked with producer Jaro for their debut Two Weeks Vacation last summer. After adding SEER to the mix, a producer that's quite different and complimentary to Jaro, the group as a whole has been on a writing spree.

Dropping their This Time Last Year EP just over a month ago, Beach Jesus used the short project as a launch pad for a string of releases they plan on sharing with fans throughout the year. Last week, we received "Helsinki" featuring Cae Jones over Jaro production, and now the sandy messiah is back again with "Hollow As I", a dark and very personal record that Chandler and Jommis have no problem sharing with the world.

This release is a loose single and won't find its way on any project, but I'm told there will plenty more loose singles coming to keep "Hollow As I" company very soon.

My tears formed the sea
that sea swallowed my eyes
sing for the sorrows and the bottles
just as hollow as I
