DJ Caleeb • "Young & Jiggy"
We recently covered a smooth joint by DJ Caleeb called "Young & Jiggy". There was an immediate connection that I had with it. The layered elements of the track strangely made it feel more like a mood than it did a song. Today, Caleeb drops a visually pleasing video to accompany the already mellow and enlightening track.
NAVVI • "Tenant"
Meet NAVVI, the rapper with a nonchalant flow and knack for catchy hooks. "Tenant" is the perfect example of tight rhymes, loud kicks, and a story to boot. You can expect more from the up and coming rapper as NAVVI is dropping his debut EP titled TEN 35 in the forthcoming weeks
oddCouple • "Kehlani Bootleg"
Our friend oddCouple at Closed Sessions treated us to a dope instrumental earlier this week. "Kehlani Bootleg" is a fresh flip of Kehlani’s song, "Tore Up". A pretty big departure from the original, but this version works even better.
Rich Robbins • "OhMyGod"
Rich Robbins has been pushing out a lot of content in a very short amount of time. "OhMyGod" is the third drop from Robbins this month. Produced by Since’93, and classified by Robbins himself as “sad robot music”, "OhMyGod" has a pretty nifty experimental sound which I cant better classify. Rich Robins forthcoming album, AllThisGold, is slated to be released sometime this summer."
The Holy Kit • I'm Not Here
Holy Kit, this is pretty hot. It’s been a few months since we last heard from The Holy Kit, but he’s back and better than ever with his brand new mixtape I’m Not Here. We've got a sample of his new project when his single "ION SEE NOTHING" dropped a couple months ago and we can assure you that the finished tape is just as good, if not better.
These Days is proud to premiere “Aperture” by Emily Blue. The track continues Blue’s mastery of an ethereal sound that makes perfect ambient pop.
