Piece of Cake • 'Piece of Cake'
Who doesn't love cake? It's an easily-loveable treat and the onus for Chicago indie act that draws inspiration from the dessert, Piece of Cake who doubled down on the name by offering up their self-titled debut project, Piece of Cake.
Teased by their lead-off pieces, a video for "Crazy" that dropped this week and their single "Rusted" that hit the world earlier this year. It's a fun, bouncy collection that comes after a long push for the project from the group that has been hanging around for a minute. Hailing from Logan Square, the music really seems to embody the scene, the time of year and the feel of the city at this time in a unique way. We love seeing the city grow and evolve, shout out Brynn and co on getting the project to the world!
