Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

Chai Tulani (Ft. Christian JaLon) • "Studio Love"

What happens when you put together two great, talented, positive artists? You get a beautiful song called "Studio Love". Chicago artists, Chai Tulani and Christian JaLon, get together and bring us a feel good track filled with positive and calm vibes. This that sit back and relax type of song. This that chill with your special someone and admire the moment type of song. If you're into very creative soulful music, or just great music in general, then I highly suggest taking a listen. See for yourself and check out "Studio Love".

D.Graves • "Find The Beat"

Developing and honing his craft is Chicago's young up and coming rapper D.Graves. His latest drop "Find the beat" is a true testiment to how dedicated this kid is when it comes to maximizing ones potential. As for the ear candy, lets shout out beat producer Jeff Rx providing us with the melodies and bass to knock our heads to. Find the beat and stay locked!

Kahrion • "Right Time"

Oak Park’s Kharion and long time friend/producer Von Vuai have gotten together again to give us an inspiring new track. We all have down days but in “Right Time” Kharion asks us to ride along with him through the cold times and make the best of your situation. This song is carefree and joyous while simultaneously relevant and lyrically direct. It’s right on time for the end of summer – check it out below.

Lukas G • "XX"

In the studio cooking like martha stewart in the kitchen is Chicago's Lukas G of the New Kingz with his latest solo release titled “XX”. Lukas most certainly gives us all he’s got over a melodic and wavy track produced by Dougy. Holding nothing back, Lukas gives listeners a taste of how life as an fire spitting underdog can be coming up in a cold world. His flow and lyrics highlight his hunger for success and theres no doubt that this young creative will keep dropping heat as his musical career progresses. Enjoy this track and stay up with New Kingz' one and only Lukas G.

Monte Booker • "I Kno What U Want"

Innovative Chicago producer, Monte Booker, puts his twist on early 2000's "I Know What You Want" by Busta Rhymes and Mariah Carey. Monte Booker is an undeniably talented producer with great influence and taste in music, these skills set the foundation for this excellent reimagining, a feat many attempt and fail. You can hear some of his other work with familiar names such as Smino and Ravyn Lenae. Providing us with a throwback vibe, this flip is a must listen. Check it out and be expecting more from the creative producer.

Plain Dave • "Mazi"

Chicago's young hip hop creative Plain Dave isn’t afraid to show off his talent which is evident in his latest drop “Mazi”.  Nothing but straight bars seem to be Dave's priority as he spits hard over a dark and haunted sounding trap beat produced by Scott Ekho. Enjoy this track and continue to stay up on the Plain Dave as he continues his onslaught of new music.
