TLNTD (Ft. Chris Alonzo) • "Trust The Process"
Words by Von Heir Jay
Calling Classick Studio's his home, producer/engineer Epidemic links up with two frequent collaborators TLNTD and Chris Alonzo for his new single. The track starts with vocals from TLNTD speaking on “They”, and how they’re on his heels and trying to drag him down but he can’t allow that. We’re then introduced to Alonzo, the way he spits is almost as if he’s narrating over the dreamy beat. In his verse he speaks on being torn between life’s decisions. Asking for repentance, change, and protection of his city, the ones he loves, and even his enemies. Harmonies from TLNTD backing up Alonzo we transition back to the hook into TLNTD’s verse.
TLNTD mentions the career transition, as you may know him for his directorial work with a number of local music talents. He’s gearing up to release his new project eXpectations on August 30th, and I’m not sure if this will make the cut but its definitely a good glimpse at what can be expected as majority of the production is handled by Epidemic.
