Each week the These Days staff comes across great music from Chicago artists that we could not provide individual features for. In an effort to keep our readers up to date with more of our recent favorites, the Round Up segment provides quick summaries and additional noteworthy content. Check out our latest picks below and feel free to submit a comment if you feel we missed something.

AKONIxx • "Rewind"

Quietly making his way up the ladder is Chicago's rap slangin' beat makin' menace by the name of AKONIxx. In his most recent release "Rewind", AKONIxx gives us a piece of his mind through a versatile rhyme scheme linked with a haunting trap beat. This joint flexes even harder with the help of Triptych Visuals providing us with a very solid job on the film side. Hurry and give this a listen...you wont be disappointed!

Bandman Kevo • "Phone Call"

Literally just before turning himself in on bank fraud charges, Chicago rapper Bandman Kevo hits us with a new music video for his single “Phone Call.” Laced with excellent talent, Chicago film maker D Gainz shows us why he’s a force to be reckoned with.  Keno lives lavishly while he cruises through the city flexing in his bumblebee colored Ferrari and splashing out on Lake Michigan, whipping around boats and jet skis.  We can see that Bandman is letting fans and haters know he means business. Although the rapper might be down for a bit serving time for his misdoings, it’s best to stay up on him and expect a strong comeback.

D. Graves • "Marsellus Wallace"

Hip-hop meets Pulp Fiction, as D.Graves takes us back to the 90's with this one. D.Graves titles his newest track "Marsellus Wallace", aka the gangster in one of arguably the greatest movies of all time. The beautiful soulful production on this track was put together by ATTIXIV, as D.Graves lays down some killer wordplay over the 90's hip-hop inspired beat. D.Graves looks to always do it big, and he did just that with this new one. Check it out below.

Rich The Kid (Ft. Lil Durk) • "The Bag (Remix)"

Over the past couple of years, Atlanta and Chicago have been leading the music industry, paving the way for many great artists. Rich The Kid, who has been blowing up in Atlanta for the past year grabs a Chicago star Lil Durk to join him on his single, "That Bag" which was originally released on last year's project, Flexin On Purpose. Lil Durk comes through like usual and flex's hard on his verse, keeping the Chicago and Atlanta connection strong. Check the remix out below.

Warhol.ss • Surprise!

Just like the title alludes to, Chicago up and comer Warhol.ss surprised fans last week with a short EP. The rapper hit the ground running during summer '16 and appears to be carrying that momentum into the fall season with a healthy schedule of releases, even if we don't know what that schedule is yet. Warhol doesn't seem to like to box himself into any rigid schedule, but rather keeps it loose and never allows his fans to go too long without something new to enjoy. Only 3 tracks deep, but Surprise! is guaranteed to make your morning a little more lively.
