Saba and Pivot Gang put on for the West Side once again with this nostalgic series of visuals accompanying "Westside Bound 3". As we're walked through the streets and shops that embody their home, Saba doles lyric upon well-placed meter to describe his origin story. He minces no words in hitting the poignant message of the first verse: "the road less traveled is rife with challenges. Alcohol, trafficking, corner sprays" - and somehow getting down the next bite in spite of it all. But we've seen Saba lead the way down the high road time and again. Seeing him return to his roots, (and enlist the effervescent dance moves and lyricism of brother Joesph Chilliams) makes this feel all the more like the celebration the Pivot Gang has been waiting to drop.
