The Cool Kids • "TV Dinner"
Back with some fat raps Chicago legends The Cool Kids appear with nourishment in the form of a “TV Dinner.” As is tradition, one must always click “like” before actually listening to a new Cool Kids track. Remaining immovable forces in the rap game for over a decade now, Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks add more dope to a spotless track record. Directed by Jimmy Regular, the hilarious “TV Dinner” visual premiered exclusively on Tidal. Featuring characters from their sketch comedy series The Shit Show, The Cool Kids blend their classic bass driven production with their infectious sense of humor.
“Connect Four” serving as the premiere single for their forthcoming project Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe, The Cool Kids are making a long but not forgotten concept take shape in 2017. Announcing their reunion last summer, the iconic duo has since released a handful of new material. It’s as if they never stopped making music. If what we’ve heard/plan to hear turned out to be secret tracks from 2010 [the original release period for the album] I wouldn’t be surprised. As expected, The Cool Kids have kept their sound as fresh as it was the day they stepped out. In the midst of a seemingly unprecedented year for the windy city, Chuck and Mike are no doubt working on one of the most anticipated albums in the history of Chicago. Listen for yourself.
