BigBodyFiji • "Do Bettuh"
Directed by Destination Visuals
The illustrious BigBodyFiji and his shiny fur coat share a bit of helpful advice in his new video. Edited and directed by fellow Decent Militia associate Jose Franco, the young businessmen turned rapper sparks it up again. Like himself, Fiji encourages all the beautiful people of the city to “Do Bettuh” over the trunk thumping production of LORDBUFU and TayMasterChef. Released solely as a Destination Visuals single, BigBodyFiji makes his first musical appearance since Decent’s: Militia Muzik Vol. 1 in early January.
Resting on a solid bed of tracks it’s hard to find a verse that won’t have you parched for more. As vast as the islands themselves Fiji is a diverse landscape of style. Beloved for his infectious word choice and delivery, his charisma has yet to be cloned. Hopefully you caught his mosh worthy performance at Jugrnaut and Boi Jeanius’ SWEATSHOP Dance Party in February, there wasn’t dry body in the crowd. Loosely hinting at plans for a new project, one can only hope for the return of weekly releases by way of “Fiji Fridays.” Until we hear from the “Midwest Tom Brady” himself keep in mind, you can always do bettuh with a little BigBodyFiji in your life.
