MFn Melo • "Seeing Faces"
“Seeing Faces” is a powerful new track from MFn Melo. This isn’t a fun song, not feel-good, not a pick me up. There’s a lot of pain in it, from the words to the deliberately discordant production form VZN. It’s necessary though – the dark crashing of emotions is something each and every one of can relate to. “Seeing Faces” is thematically dedicated to the life of Pivot member John Walt, and others, a tremendous talent and by all accounts wonderful human being, gone far too soon. And despite the tours, releases and recent success of Pivot as a whole, the rage in “Seeing Faces” is proof that nothing can replace those most important to us. Life becomes day-by-day, going through the motions even in the best of times. “Seeing Faces” is not an easy listen, but at the same time, it’s one of the greatest songs MFn Melo has ever made.
