Malcolm London • RightAwaySeries

Called the Gil Scott Heron of his generation by Cornel West, Malcolm London releases a new hip-hip EP inspired by his online poetry series. London calls this project “a note on self discovery; a compilation of love poems, political commentary & emotional turmoil.” The project comes after London’s first North American tour and his temporary move to Cincinnati, OH. The production was created by producer duo “BAD CXMPANY” made up of London’s OPIA Tour companions, Timmy V & EB. The six song EP features upcoming Chicago vocalists TASHA, as well as, singer Marcus Anthony Johnson who was recently featured on the Grammy nominated “Humanz” album by Gorillaz. London says, “With OPIA I wanted to push the boundaries sonically and showcase an artistic range. The #RightAwaySeries is about me getting reacquainted with myself as poet who is also a rapper. This is me trying to live up to what Cornel West once said.” "#RightAwaySeries" is available on all streaming services.
