The distinctive sound was originally inspired by a late night session with Jeremih and Chance The Rapper. Following the Chicago tradition of scamming, the song illustrates an idea of making it despite anything. Producer T.Y. Made It set the path for the original track, as NikeBoi pulls Valee towards his own signature sound.
