Chicago songwriter Rich Jones returns with his first video since last year’s album, The Shoulder You Lean On, and his These Days cover story in November. Nonetheless, the song that soundtracks this visual goes back a bit further. Fans of Jones will recognize “No Clue” as a 2017 loosie that garnered a decent amount of attention and public radio love. Featuring Mykele Deville, the song’s laid-back and summery vibes made it easy to love and was rewarded with a write-up on NPR’s Heavy Rotation feature.
The official clip follows Jones through an unconventional grocery store run and a nostalgic house-party performance thanks to directors JustCreators. It’s the perfect visual stimulant to a fun record and yet another incentive to get-up off your seat and dance to Montana Mack’s production and Jones’ evocative singing.
