RIPNDIP Kicks off Chicago Pop Up with Joey Purp & The Hood Internet Show
After a summer of jaw dropping pop ups taking place in NYC & LA, clothing brand RIPNDIP has set up shop in Chicago. The store, located just west of Wicker at 2519 W. North Ave, opened its doors yesterday and will run through the end of the month. Beyond the product for sale, it's little things RIPNDIP does that makes this one unique like filling the room with art installations, passing out branded condoms and enlisting Chicago native Jason Hoodrich to give out free tattoos.
To celebrate, the brand teamed up with Zumiez to throw a free event on Friday night at the Aragon Ballroom - fittingly featuring a giant ball pit - which included musical performances from The Hood Internet and Joey Purp. In case you missed it, we've gathered a few highlights from socials down below. We haven't had a lot of brands come to Chicago to do this sort of things yet, but RIPNDIP has definitely done in the right way. Check out pop up before it packs up.
