Continuing on to capitalize on the wake of his most recent project, Broad Shoulders, Bennett will get a great opportunity to once again prove he's more than Chance's little brother as he joins one of the hottest tickets in town. Lanez is coming off a huge year himself, one that saw his first single, "Say It" hit No. 1 and "Luv" heading quickly in that direction, both off his recently released debut album, I Told You which has been a critical hit. No stranger to big stages, Bennett should certainly prove up to the task, and will get a chance to prove it to a hometown crowd when the tour rolls into Chicago on November 23. Common Debuts New Short-Film Documentary

Common long ago established himself as a pre-eminent figure in the hip-hop world, and over the last few years has made a concerted effort to make steps into film both in front of and behind the camera. His latest endeavor, a ten minute documentary piece, 'Love Star', debuted over the weekend via Essence.

Ever the ladies man, here Common takes a moment to appreciate the black women in his life, calling it 'an introspective celebration of Black Love'. The piece is a touching look at his own experiences that come together to create something that is deeply real. Speaking to Essence, who premiered the mini-documentary, Common had this to say: “When I wrote the song, I was thinking about when you really love a person. I thought about when I love a woman and I can enjoy her, but at the same time she can enjoy me and we can have fun and laugh. But then there’s also a real bond that’s there that has spirituality, growth, support and integrity connected in it. We’re willing to make mistakes, but we’re there for each other; that’s true love.”
